What it is (public-facing description)
Education is our main focus. We act as an extension of the school system to keep students on track, re-engage those who’ve fallen behind, and open doors to diplomas, credentials, and meaningful careers.
Purpose & Rationale
Trenton faces chronic absenteeism and low graduation rates. We bring homework labs, tutoring, credit recovery, and career exposure directly into a place youth already trust—the gym.
Core Services & Activities (Expansion)
- Daily Homework Lab + tutoring blocks; Saturday academic intensives
- School collaboration: MOUs for referral of at-risk students; attendance re-engagement using the facility as a hook
- Credit recovery / GED pathways; alignment with Dade Prep Academy’s virtual coursework for flexible completion
- Career connection: job shadowing, internships, resume/LinkedIn labs, mock interviews, industry talks
