AU Hogan, Born in Jamaica, New York, AU is a York College graduate with a BA in
Psychology and a Master's in Urban Studies from Queens College (CUNY). AU has over
45 years of intense community development and activism, from prison reform to equal
education opportunities. He is currently the Chief of Streets for the Anti-Gun Violence
organization LIFE Camp Inc., which is part of New York City’s Crisis Management
system, in conjunction with the Mayor’s Office to Prevent Gun Violence. He is a member
of the NYPD’s Citizens Advisory Committee, where he works on strategies to improve
policing and police-community relations. He is also a member of the Civilian Complaint
Review Board. Here, he fights diligently against police misconduct to advance policies
and concerns for neighborhoods across the city, state, and country, making them aware of
police reform, co-producing public safety with the community, and understanding the laws
governing it. He is an advocate for raising the age with provisions, including support for
both prison and criminal justice reform. He was the resident President of Baisley Park Houses,
in South East Queens, for 19 years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he discovered apparent food
deserts in our communities and began donating food and clothing at its height. The New York Times
did a full report while following him to many of the places he deemed necessary. He was also
presented with a proclamation by a State Senator for his efforts and commitment to his community
during that tragic and unpredictable time.

suggests that we look at households and find ways to correct and restructure them to begin
combating and solving many of the negative influences that attract young people. He is an
actor who has appeared in more than 50 plays and films. AU is also a Golden Gloves Boxing
Champion- winning the 125-pound title at Madison Square Garden in 1985. He has trained many
young men in the art/sport of boxing, as well as in social development and accountability.
He is also an author of the book “Love is Simply Confusing,” a love story, missed
opportunity, and relationships in the Black community, and his last novel, Credible and Suitable.
Edwina Phox is the accomplished Executive Coordinator at Pfizer’s New York headquarters, supporting the office of the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer as well as the Sr. Vice President of Executive Operations, Chief of Staff and Counsel to the Chairman and CEO with exemplary organizational and administrative expertise. With over three decades of progressive experience in high-level administrative support within the legal and corporate sectors, Edwina is widely recognized for her meticulous attention to detail, operational leadership, and ability to drive efficiency across complex organizational processes.
In her current role, Edwina is responsible for orchestrating all facets of executive coordination, including travel planning, meeting logistics, expense management, and procurement for the Office of the Chief Legal Officer. She manages end-to-end operations for the Legal Division Executive Team (LDET) offsite meetings and events, partnering closely with key stakeholders across Pfizer such as Aviation, Global Security, Corporate Governance, and Enterprise Travel & Meetings. Edwina ensures seamless execution of internal and external engagements, from routine scheduling to high-profile Executive Leadership Team and Board meeting preparation and the logistical onboarding and offboarding of staff and contractors. She also provides backup support to the Office of the CEO during executive assistant absences, demonstrating her versatility and reliability.
Edwina’s responsibilities extend to overseeing departmental resources, maintaining online storage and distribution lists, and generating analytical reports. She is known for her proactive problem-solving skills—independently identifying issues and implementing innovative solutions. Prior to her current position, Edwina served as Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Pfizer from 2014 to 2021, and as a Sr. Administrative Assistant within Pfizer’s Legal Division and Corporate Compliance from 2006 to 2012. She also held key administrative roles in corporate compliance at Hess (Oil) Headquarters and in several divisions of the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, where she developed a foundation in legal administration, public affairs, community outreach, and communications.
Edwina pursued undergraduate studies in Business Administration at the University of Maryland, European Division in Livorno, Italy.
