NextGen Boxing Academy is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth through boxing. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for donations and program/event registrations.
1. Donations
As a non-profit organization, NextGen Boxing Academy relies on donations to fund our programs and operations. All donations made to NextGen Boxing Academy are generally considered final and non-refundable.
Exceptions for Donation Refunds:
- Processing Error: In the event of a clear processing error (e.g., duplicate charge, incorrect amount due to a system error), we will investigate and issue a full refund for the erroneous portion. You must notify us of any such error within 30 days of the donation date.
- Donor Error: If you made an accidental donation (e.g., intended to donate a different amount or did not intend to donate), you must contact us within 7 days of the transaction. Such refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may incur a processing fee to cover administrative costs incurred by the payment processor.

2. Program and Event Registration Fees
Refund policies for program and event registration fees vary by program or event and are often detailed in the registration materials for that offering. The following general policy applies unless otherwise stated:
- Cancellation by NextGen Boxing Academy: If NextGen Boxing Academy cancels a program or event for any reason (e.g., insufficient enrollment, unforeseen circumstances), registered participants will receive a full refund of their registration fees. We will make reasonable efforts to notify participants in advance.

Cancellation by Participant:
- More than 30 days before the start date: A full refund may be issued, subject to a small administrative fee (e.g., $10-$25) to cover processing costs.
- Between 15 and 30 days before the start date: A 50% refund may be issued.
- Less than 15 days before the start date: No refunds will be issued.
- No-Shows: Participants who do not attend a program or event without prior notification will not be eligible for a refund.
- Medical or Emergency Circumstances: Refund requests due to documented medical emergencies or other extenuating circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Participants must provide appropriate documentation.
- Transfer of Registration: In some cases, and with prior approval, you may be able to transfer your registration to another individual or to a future program/event. This is subject to availability and specific program rules.
How to Request a Program/Event Refund:
All refund requests for programs or events must be submitted in writing via email to info@nexgenbox.org. Your request should include:
- Your full name and contact information.
- The name of the program or event.
- The date of registration.
- The amount paid.
- The reason for the refund request.
3. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will typically be processed within 10-15 business days and credited to the original payment method. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your bank statement or credit card.
4. Merchandise and Other Items
If NextGen Boxing Academy sells merchandise or other physical items, specific return and refund policies for those items will be provided at the point of sale.
